Position Overview:
Do you eat processes and quality assurance for breakfast?
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Operations and Quality Manager to oversee and optimize our day-to-day operations, ensuring the highest standards of quality and efficiency across all aspects of our business. This individual will be the face of MENDED to both consumers and our network of craftsmen, ensuring that every order and interaction reflects our premium yet playful experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Management: Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring everything runs like clockwork. Identify bottlenecks and implement solutions to optimize workflow efficiency.
- Process Optimization: Develop and refine our operational processes, focusing on scalability and efficiency. Implement automation where possible to reduce manual workload and increase accuracy.
- Craftsmen Management: Manage and expand our network of craftsmen and service providers across Europe. Ensure our partners are aligned with our quality standards and can scale with us.
- Quality Control: Maintain our high standards of service by implementing and overseeing quality control processes. Ensure every repair meets our brand’s standards before it reaches the customer.
- Customer Service: Lead the customer service team to ensure exceptional support is provided to our clients and their customers. Develop customer service protocols that reflect our values of ease, trust, and playfulness. Ensure that customer inquiries, issues, and feedback are handled promptly and effectively.
- Logistics and Supply Chain: Oversee logistics, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of repaired items. Optimize our supply chain to support rapid scaling across multiple markets.
- Budget Management: Work closely with the finance team to manage operational budgets and ensure cost efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Languages: Must be fluent in English and German; Dutch language skills are highly desirable.
- Experience: Experience in operations management, preferably in a fast-growing startup or a similar environment. Experience in the fashion or e-commerce industry is a plus.
- Leadership: Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with team members and external partners, with experience in managing remote teams, third-party vendors, and customer service operations.
- Problem-Solver: Strong analytical skills and a track record of identifying and solving complex operational challenges.
- Efficiency-Driven: A deep understanding of process optimization and a passion for driving efficiency in all aspects of operations. Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to maintaining high standards of quality across all operations.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with internal teams, external partners, clients, and customers.
- Adaptable: Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with the ability to pivot quickly as the business scales.
